We have created three funeral choices that provide everything required for a traditional cremation or burial. That’s right, everything required including all disbursements paid, all our professional fees covered and a standard coffin. No surprises and no hidden costs.

We have also given you a unique option to create a bespoke funeral to suite your exact wishes. In just a few simple pages we will guide you through every aspect and choice for your funeral from location and style to vehicles and tributes. We will also give you an accurate price at every step so you can adjust to suit your budget.

Direct Cremation

Offering a saving of £2,600 a Direct Cremation differs from a Traditional Cremation in that there is no service during the funeral and there are no mourners in attendance. This does not stop the family from arranging a memorial or celebration-of-life event at a location and time of their choice.
What the package includes
  • Bringing the deceased into our care from any location within 20 miles including home, care home or hospice at no extra cost
  • Provision of a full hearse (not a van or private ambulance) for transport to the crematorium
  • Cremation location is Basildon Crematorium
  • Removal of pacemaker or prosthetics is included if required
  • Return of ashes to the family, usually within two weeks, at no extra cost
Disbursements (third party fees)
  • Crematorium fee – £545
  • Oak veneer coffin – £155

The final price for a Direct Cremation including disbursements is £1,295

Of course we will handle all arrangements and liaisons with third parties as well as giving you our full support before, during and after the funeral.

Our Traditional Cremation Package provides an elegant and dignified farewell to your loved one. Naturally our small staff team will guide and support you from start to finish, making all arrangements and ensuring your farewell goes exactly to plan.

  • Preparation and dressing of the deceased in the clothes of your choice
  • Funeral at the location, date and time of your choosing (subject to availability)
  • Visiting in our chapel of rest during work hours
  • Our elegant hearse will proceed to the crematorium from a private residence of your choosing
  • A Funeral Director with a full team of bearers to conduct the day and assist in every way
Disbursements (third party fees)
  • Crematorium fee (from £1,100)

Our Premium Cremation Suite is a full service package designed to cover all requirements and eventualities. In line with our 5* professional service and support your every need has been considered and catered for. This takes all the pressure from you and your family during a time of loss.

  • A Beautiful Derby coffin lined and fitted for cremation
  • Embalming, dressing and full preparation of the deceased for viewing
  • Visiting in our chapel of rest including evenings and weekends
  • Provision of an elegant Mercedes limousine for your family
  • Hearse and Limousine to proceed from a private residence of your choosing
  • Funeral director and full team of funeral operatives taking care of every detail on the day
  • Limousine to return the family to the wake venue
  • 60 bespoke full colour orders of service
  • A choice of elegant brass and silver inlaid urns

  • Preparation and dressing of the deceased in the clothes of your choice
  • Visiting in our chapel of rest during work hours
  • Advice, support and relevant paperwork for purchasing a grave plot
  • All arrangements for the opening and preparation of the grave
  • Our elegant hearse will proceed to the crematorium from a private residence of your choosing
  • A Funeral Director with a team of bearers to conduct the day and assist in every way

Please note that disbursements (third party fees) are not included. Please be aware that not all disbursements listed are required.

The typical price for a traditional burial as Southend including the opening of an existing resident grave is around £4,228
